SSO Artists Entertainment has issued an advisory regarding an upcoming iTunes scheduled maintenance window that is expected to affect content delivery and processing across the SSO infrastructure. Starting at 6:00 a.m. PDT on May 16, updates being applied to Apple systems will cause temporary delays for album updates and new deliveries distributed through the SSO Gateway and SSO Node. This impact extends to all content routed to Apple Music, iTunes, and Apple Podcasts. While the SSO systems will continue to accept delivery submissions during this period, the processing and ingestion on Apple's end may see delays of up to two hours. Consequently, metadata changes, album updates, and new releases might not appear immediately on digital service providers. To ensure that critical releases and time-sensitive updates are not disrupted, the Distribution and Infrastructure Team strongly recommends that all necessary delivery actions be completed before May 16. SSO Artists Entertainment will continue to monitor delivery statuses in real-time, and all queued content will be processed automatically once full service resumes. For urgent delivery needs or further support, clients are encouraged to contact the support team.
